Therapy for Women Ready for Deeper Healing
Helping you move from carrying it all alone to feeling clear, connected, and deeply at home in yourself.
When life starts to feel like too much…
Strong on the outside
You’ve always been the one who holds it all together. On the outside, you seem capable and composed, but inside, your mind spins, replaying conversations, questioning your choices, and worrying about how others see you.
Overwhelm and Anxiety
Your body tells another story: tension that never fully eases, exhaustion that runs deeper than sleep, and a quiet sense that you’re carrying too much alone.
Even in the rare quiet moments, your mind keeps racing, never truly letting you rest.
Stressful Relationships
You notice the slight shift in your partner’s tone, your friend’s silence, your boss’s mood. And before you know it, you’re doing the emotional math:
“What do they need? Did I do something wrong?
You spend your day scanning for tension.
Nothing is working
You’ve done the journaling, the meditating, the self-help deep dives, maybe even therapy, but something still feels stuck. And you wonder:
Why can’t I figure this out when I’m trying so hard?
You’re not broken. You’re not “too much” and you deserve therapy that honors the depth of who you are.
I help thoughtful women reconnect with their bodies, voices, and spirits so they can live grounded, meaningful lives on their own terms.
Your life can feel different.
What if you didn’t have to white-knuckle your way through the day?
What if you could wake up with more ease, move through life with clarity, and finally feel at home in your body, your relationships, and your choices?
Imagine instead…
Feeling calm, grounded, and confident in yourself
Trusting your intuition without second-guessing
Speaking your truth and feeling heard in your relationships
Experiencing authentic connection that feels safe, mutual, and nourishing
Honoring your depth and insight as strengths, not burdens
Therapy can help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel lost, release the constant pressure to be perfect, and quiet the mental noise that keeps you stuck.
Together, we’ll focus on building healthier boundaries, cultivating self-compassion, and creating relationships that feel supportive and authentic so your life feels more balanced, fulfilling, and truly your own.
Not who you think you should be.
Not what others expect.
Just you.
Together, we’ll begin to gently untangle where your energy gets hijacked with over-attuning, the constant checking, the quiet belief that it’s your job to manage how others feel. You don’t have to keep abandoning yourself to make everyone else okay.
In our sessions, you’ll learn to come back into your body, into your breath, and into the wisdom you’ve been overriding for years.
You’ll start to notice and create space for change. That might sound like":
”Oh, I’m feeling anxious because I’m trying to read someone else’s mind again.”
“Wait, those emotions aren’t mine to carry.”
“I want to communicate what I’m needing here.”
These moments of awareness? They’re everything. It’s the beginning of a different way of being, one where your feelings, your needs, and your voice take up rightful space.
In therapy, we start with you…
My Approach
I’m Sarah (she/her). I help thoughtful, deep-feeling women move beyond coping into lives that feel more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in depth. I blend talk therapy with body-based and relational approaches including somatic therapy, EMDR, IFS, mindfulness, and psychodynamic work. We may also explore cultural, ancestral, or spiritual threads of your story if that feels meaningful to you.
Together, we’ll:
Soothe the overwhelm in your nervous system
Untangle old family dynamics and patterns that keep you stuck
Reconnect with your intuition, values, and sense of belonging
This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about creating a compassionate space where your complexity is welcomed, your healing unfolds at your pace, and you can finally come home to yourself.
If therapy hasn’t worked for you in the past…
You’re not broken, you need a different approach. Surface-level, cognitive solutions won’t reach the places that need healing.
Maybe you’ve been to therapy before. You understood the tools, nodded along, even tried to apply them. You could probably write a self-help book by now.
But it didn’t change how you felt, not in your body, not in your relationships, not in the quiet moments with yourself.
You kept doing the “right things,” but still felt anxious, disconnected, or unsure of who you really were under all the coping.
What was missing?
Maybe no one helped you build a compassionate relationship with yourself.
Maybe the work stayed in your head, and never reached your body or your nervous system.
Maybe you needed more than insight, you needed to feel something shift inside.
That’s where my approach is different.
I work somatically which means we bring your body into the process, not just your thoughts.
Together, we’ll notice what your body is holding, where it tightens, where it softens, and what it’s been trying to tell you for years.
When we include your body in the healing, real change happens. You don’t just “know better,” you feel safer, stronger, and more at home in yourself.
This is therapy that helps you feel whole, not just more functional.
Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about creating a space where you don’t have to perform, manage, or explain yourself.
It’s okay if you cry.
It’s okay if you feel stuck.
It’s okay if you don’t have the words.
I’ll meet you with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Our work will be a steady return to yourself. We might pause to notice what’s happening in your body, explore a memory that still stays with you, or get curious about a pattern that feels too old and familiar.
There’s no rush. No pressure. Just an invitation to be exactly where you are and a gentle, grounded path forward.
What it feels like to work with me
You’re not alone.
Many women I work with have left past therapy feeling unseen, pathologized, or given quick “tools” that didn’t touch what was really going on.
My approach is different. I offer space for nuance, depth, and complexity. A space where your story makes sense, your sensitivity is honored, and your healing unfolds at your own pace.
You don’t have to keep carrying this alone.
I’m not here to simply listen and nod. I’ll be right there with you—curious, engaged, and helping you uncover the next right step toward the life you want.
